i’ve been wishing and meaning to convert the girls’ bedroom to izzie’s nursery ever since i was pregnant. now that my little girl is turning one very very very soon. i need to act fast, as she had already invaded our living room. yes, our living room. all her stuff is almost in there because that’s where she stays during the day time.
the conversion will be my project in the coming weeks. i need to start organizing my stuff first! i may be organized in other matters, but when it comes to my personal stuff, i am such a mess. may pagka scavenger ako eh. hehehe …

They say that when you become a new mommy, some pre-baby friendships can hit a rocky patch this this transition time in your life. Who are these pre-baby friends? I am referring more on the unmarried and childless friend who may feel uncomfortable around you now that you’re a mommy. They may feel that there is no longer that common denominator that you guys once had.
Lucky me! My single friends are the ones who are most supportive and are the ones whom i get a really good spanking if my memory fails to remind me that i’m now a momma. They are the ones trying to help me out and make suggestions on how to give Izzie’s party a lil kick (kahit na sobrang busy sila not having a life. hehehe…). How so? hmmm…. lemme guess… probably because there are still so much connected with the inner child within themselves. (kaya siguro single pa rin sila… hehehe…) Let’s not put them now on the hot seat. That’ll be on a different post, so go watch out for that. hehehe…
I will no longer elaborate on these friendships. All I know is that I keep a small circle of friends, and that they truly deserve their spot in my life. They are the ones who are worth keeping forever.

ate judy and i were at serendra yesterday to check out Marta’s Cake for izzie’s 1st birthday party cake, and to check out Peppered Cherry for the Cathy Bags, and of course to hung out and catch up on each other’s busy lives. hehehehe
mission accomplished! was really happy with the cakes i saw, perfect for izzie birthday party theme, Flowers and Bugs. though, i must admit, it’s quite expensive, but the cakeshop personnel that i spoke with is very accomodating, they are very willing to work something out for your budget. hopefully, they’ll be able to email me soon on their proposed cake designs and layouts.
at peppered cherry, got a new bag. it’s an emma bag, though, initially, i wanted the izzie bag. syempre, izzie bag, kasi there’s a very special izzie in my life. hehehehe. did not like the izzie bag combination very much. i might just order this online, though.
